It’s truly getting slim on the waiver wire at this stage in the season. Barring major injury, the Zeke suspension might be the last significant shift in player value. You should still be stashing to prepare for your playoff run, but the excitement may be coming to an end in the weekly waiver wire search. Continue reading

Top fantasy football pickups, free agents, and waiver wire advice each week to improve your roster and win your fantasy football league
Week 10 Pickups: Time for Fitzmagic
It’s becoming ever harder to field a quarterback with injuries plaguing the position up and down the fantasy ranks. With that in mind, we’ll start by noting that Josh McCown and Ryan Fitzpatrick are both viable options, especially this week as they face off. Continue reading
Week 9 Pickups: Trades on Trades on Trades
After one of the most active trade deadlines in recent memory, the waiver wire has a few new options this week. Did you keep up with all the transactions?

Week 7 Pickups: Replacing Aaron Rodgers
No one likes to see a top quarterback injured, especially not the consensus No. 1 fantasy quarterback. Unfortunately, we find ourselves in that position this week. Continue reading
Week 6 Pickups: Adrian Peterson is for the birds
This week’s waiver wire is a great reminder that, if your roster needed help, it might have been better to make moves last week. Choices are limited if you didn’t stash, but, if your league is slow to adapt, perhaps you’ll find some of last week’s gems or this week’s leftovers available. Continue reading
Week 5 Pickups & Stashes: Cooking Up Replacement Running Backs
Injuries once again bring a new slate to the waiver wire rankings this week.
Top of the list is Latavius Murray who expects to see the majority of early down work for the Minnesota Vikings without Dalvin Cook. A sneaky pickup for those not willing to go big in FAAB bidding for Murray or who aren’t highly ranked in the waiver order this week is Jerick McKinnon. Continue reading
Week 4 Pickups: Injuries are for the Smallwood of heart
With any injury comes opportunity in fantasy football. This week, the door opens for Wendell Smallwood to see an increased role for the Eagles after Darren Sproles’ injury. We may have seen the last of Sproles as he had already stated this would be his final season, and my PPR teams will miss him. Smallwood is the only RB left on the Eagles’ roster capable of picking up the receptions Sproles’ was getting in this offense, which makes him worthy of a stash if not a start this week as the Eagles face the Chargers. Week 3 Pickups: Carson Carson Carson Carson Carson Chameleon
Week 2 wasn’t quite as exciting for pickup hunting as Week 1, but, with two weeks down, we have a little more clarity on how valuable these free agents could be for your team this season. Looking back on last week’s list, Javorius “Buck” Allen appears to be the top of the class. His role in Baltimore has expanded with the injury to Danny Woodhead. With Terrance West suffering through a soft tissue injury, the Ravens could lean on him even more in Week 3.

Week 2 Pickups: Forgetting David Johnson
If you are patrolling the waiver wire this week with tears in your eyes, we know the feeling. Losing your first round draft pick is always painful.
Don’t expect to get David Johnson-esque numbers from these options, but the consensus opinion for replacing him seems to be his direct backup, Kerwynn Williams. Continue reading
Week 10 Pickups: RB Reload, Bet the Sanchize
We hit on a few long-term investments at wide receiver last week. With news breaking and injuries healing up, it’s time to talk about stashing running backs this week, if you can get to them first on the wire. Continue reading
